The MBA is already as fast as the Tesla Plaid, only lst for the first 1000 feet of the first mile.

This is more like adding a radiator to an older air-cooled Porsche, if you like car comparisons.

I never use a laptop actually on my lap, so I would do this immediately, if I had one. Heat is the enemy of electronics, so I would actually think this mod might increase reliability and longevity.
