Need to have this file only show entries with "First" and "last" entries -- all others go bye bye.
Need to do data merge, but only want to generate for those fields... make sense?
So apparently DBox has changed screen shots, now labeled "capture".

Image is 404...
Not that I have much idea about how to solve this with Excel... was just peeking to see if I could help.

Did you figure out the solution or just fix the link? I feel like I'm missing something, are you having problems importing the two columns into another file?

1. Select the range of data, including the headers.
2. Insert > Table
3. "Create Table" dialog will appear confirming range, such as: =$A$1:$D$35
4. Make sure "My table has headers" is selected and click OK.
5. Click on the drop down arrow in the First or Last Name column and deselect "blanks"
That will filter them out.
If you want to delete them forever, you can do the opposite. In other words, deselect all the boxes, then select "blanks" only to see just those rows, and then you can manually delete them. Remove the filter and you'll have all the rows with first and last name.

thanks. There were 450 records, about 200 blanks.... so I did it manually, didn't take long. Client was hot for it.
Will save this for next time. =)

At least you could have lied!
JK. This way I don't have to worry about being blamed if something went wrong.

This will also work without performing steps 2-4.
