PSA on getting a refund from Amazon…
#1
Ordered a TV from Amazon on the 15th with a delivery of 28th, for $3800. TV ended up being delivered on 31st. Today we noticed it had dropped to $3300 on the 24th. Attempted to chat with Amazon, but it was a bot, and it said no price adjustments. We requested to chat with a live operator. Operator refunded the difference almost immediately.

Good to know it's possible to get a price adjustment, since I think the official policy is still no price adjustments, but that's a rather silly policy when there are so many items with free returns, so you can just place a new order and return it against the original order (which I've done before). But with something as big as a TV, much easier to get an actual price adjustment vs returning and re-purchasing.

Also, some credit cards offer price protection as well. A good thing to check when making a big purchase.

Dang.

Oh, I was talking about a $3800 $3,300 TV, not the refund. Wink

Im balking at spending $300 on one.... thinking I can wait another week for stupidbowl pricing.

Chat bot is pretty dumb. But if you ask for a human it will give you one.
