I really appreciate you posting this - I'm always trying to find more / better resources for predicting when I might be able to see aurora. The few times in my life I've seen them in the midwest it's been pure happ(y)enstance that I've looked up into the sky and noticed them. I wonder how often they've been there and I haven't looked.
