Never did find the song, but I did learn some good Jackson Brown songs....

They played my Grad Night in Disneyland in 1983, along with Berlin, the Gap Band, and others I don't remember.

Sorry, but I would have never guessed "The Breakup Song" from "pom papapa pom".

You're right, though -- great song. My favorite from them, in fact.

Ditto, and plus it doesn't really sound at all like Jackson Browne to me. Jackson Browne has such a distinctive voice, you can't really mistake him for anybody else.

One of my favorite songs. Especially from that era. I used to play it on my college radio show as often as I could get away with it.
