Vegetarians
#11
Many people choose to be vegetarians/vegans for ethical reasons, not health reasons.

I could easily be a vegetarian with almost no big sacrifice except for seafood, provided I lived somewhere with closer to year round fresh veggies.

My 13 year old son is headed toward being a vegetarian. And it’s not for health or ethical reasons. He just really loves fruits and veggies and dislikes most meat. We have a niece who’s the same, although I think she’s fully vegetarian now. As a kid, she never seemed to like any meat, and in college I think she decided to just go fully vegetarian. She doesn’t really talk about it much though.

They call that a pescatarian now, and that’s what I have been for decades.
I was never able to digest meat easily and chicken is just well, chicken, lol, so I opted to just eat seafood as my non plant protein. I still eat dairy and eggs, although I don’t digest a lot of dairy very easily either, are we spotting a trend here?
I did like bacon, and pork, a lot, but so it goes. Lol

I like vegetarians. Cows, deer, elk, bison... all vegetarians!

For the record, I don’t even like bacon. Not even the fake stuff. Now, cheese, fries, bread, chocolate, beer…. Those things are wonderful. But so are vegetables.

And not one of them are meat!

In general, the vegetarians/vegans I know are pretty slender and seemingly healthier, and I bring up vegetarianism more than they do, classifying one and all as "Radical Vegans," jokingly.
