No, I'm not looking for recommendations. But I have a question. A month or so ago I picked up a bottle of once daily multivitamins, since I really haven't taken them since I was a kid and I thought it might be prudent. What really struck me was that as soon as I opened the bottle, the smell brought me back to my youth. What the hell is the magic ingredient in these things that makes my CVS Men's 50+ Advanced daily multivitamin smell exactly like I remember the Flintstones chewables of my youth smelling?
Anyone else notice that?

Guessing it's one of the B vitamins. They're kinda pungent.

Interesting. The mention of Flintstones chewable vitamins triggered a vivid memory of the smell.
I take a multivitamin, the current bottle is the Kirkland men's 50+ variety, and they don't smell anything like the Flintstones.

I’m guessing it’s the smell of an essential chemical or maybe people in a focus group always like that smell.

Well, that's good to know. Maybe when these are done, I'll try another brand. I may have just been (un)lucky.

Of those options I'd guess the former, as I can't imagine any focus group liking the smell I'm experiencing.

Desiccated liver.
