I hate prescription drug ads on TV

The wife and I have the sound off and challenge each other to read the micro text at the bottom of the screen. Of course having TV’s less than 50 inches in screen size makes much of the 1, 2 and 3 point type impossible to see.

Couldn't agree more. What you probably do not know is that drug ad banners are also allowed on EMR screens (when doctors record your information). Sick, sick, sick.

Drug companies spend more on marketing than research

Complicated. Depends on the year, or if you average over the life of the drug, or if you take into account all the failed projects or not, etc...
