Another fun little movie: Jerry and Marge Go Large
#1
Being from MA helped with its appeal for me, but it also has Bryan Cranston and Annette Bening, so there's that, too. I don't remember hearing anything about the film or the actual story on which it was based.

The 60 Minutes story

The movie trailer (actual movie is on Paramount+)

I feel so ignored. This was discussed in a previous lottery thread you started and I posted a link to an article about the original story!

(But I appreciate the reminder as I forgot about the movie, probably from switching Paramount accounts and losing my watchlist - might just watch it tonight).

Damn. I know the feeling. Sorry about that. I actually thought about doing a search, but this place has been so quiet lately, I figured it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and post it.

And since that was 7 months ago, I probably would have posted again anyway, but phrased it differently. Smile

I would like to see it but Paramount+ exclusive is a deal breaker.

Ha! I don't recall this at all, but I certainly did read about the MIT kids angle.

(And, hey, that is my Red Roof Inn in Deerfield! - well, I have stayed there a half-dozen times with my kids, mostly for the pool, when they were small.)

It was a wonderful film! My wife and I were bored and didn't know what to watch the other weekend, she was scanning through our services and pointed it out to me, and while I hesitated, she convinced me to watch it with her. I'm glad she convinced me, it was very enjoyable.

If you want "edginess" or angst or mean spiritdeness as many movies and TV shows have in them these days, the movie is not for you.
