I am an island. I don't need those stinkin' phrases. I have my own. One of my favorites was 'This isn't Burger King, you don't get to have it your way.'

'No' is literally a sheet of paper I give to new staff. They need to feel comfortable not being 'Tom Sawyered' as the newbie into all sorts of useful stuff.

Most of those statements except for "no" might make me write someone off as a bit of a schmuck.
"I'm sorry you're struggling. How can I help?" sounds passive aggressive to me. Just ask if and how you can help, if it seems warranted.

The problem with many of these phrases: they're likely to get you fired if you use/overuse them in a work environment.
