NBC Renews 5 Series, Including Chicago Fire and Law & Order: SVU

.....We have excellent news for fans of NBC‘s #OneChicago franchise, and excellent-ish news for fans of its Law & Order series.

The network announced on Thursday that it has handed renewals to Chicago Med (returning for Season 10), Chicago Fire (Season 13) and Chicago P.D. (Season 12), as well as Law & Order (Season 24) and Law & Order: SVU (Season 26).

That leaves the Christopher Meloni-led Organized Crime — now airing its fourth season — as the only Law & Order show currently in limbo. An NBC rep says the show is “still in discussion” for the 2024-25 season........

Shocker: Bupkis Cancelled After Pete Davidson Quits, Reversing Peacock Renewal

....Pete Davidson has reversed course on his Peacock comedy Bupkis, which will no longer return for its previously announced second season.

“I’ve always seen Bupkis as a window into my life, since it is so personal and about my struggles and family,” Davidson said in a statement on Thursday. “After nearly a decade of my personal life being in the media I wanted a chance to tell my story my way. Of all the work I’ve ever done, Bupkis is by far what I’m most proud of. I am so grateful to Lorne Michaels and Broadway Video, Peacock, Universal Television and the amazing cast and writers for helping me create something honest, funny and heartfelt. Uncoupled Un-Renewed: Season 2 of Neil Patrick Harris Comedy Not Moving Forward at Showtime

....Showtime won’t be coming to Uncoupled‘s rescue after all. The cabler has opted not to move forward with a second season of Neil Patrick Harris‘ divorce comedy, which it previously saved after it was first canceled by Netflix.

Uncoupled followed NPH as New York City real estate agent Michael Lawson, who suddenly found himself single after being unceremoniously dumped by longtime boyfriend Colin McKenna. The comedy’s eight-episode first (and now only) season ended with Colin returning to their apartment and telling Michael that he made a huge “mistake.”.......

SVU is a favorite of mine, and along with both shows, the crossovers are well done.

SVU kicked out Kat, which was very disappointing.

Barba made a couple of appearances not to long ago, and I'd like to see him return to SVU.
