[quote Zoidberg]
FWIW, I have a great case/bag for my iMac G5 20" and I can take it just about anywhere -- thought it's kinda big, it's still portable, per se.
Are you talking about the iLugger bag?

I bought one of these for my son's 20" intel iMac. VERY nice. Much better for hauling back and forth to Austin than the original Apple box. Holds everything but his speakers... cables, external drive, headset, backup bare drives...

Only problem is the orange is more of a Tennessee orange... heh

can you imagine pulling a 20" imac out of your bag at the airport and start working =)

all you need is a plug...

That's the one, though mine is all black. Works great; when we first got up here (re/Katrina), it made it easy to go from one work area to another, until we rented a house and I got my own HSI connection.

Still, it *does* make it very portable though, yeah, be tough to justify pulling that out at an airport. (FWIW, I fly about every 10 years so no big deal; it goes in the back of the van easily with the other luggage.)

Also, you can't tell from the one shot I included, but it has handles, a shoulder strap and backpack-style straps.

And you slip it over the iMac and then flip the whole setup upside down, so there is no unwieldy horsing of the iMac up and into the bag. A very good design.

Yeah, I love this bag. Hell, I'd almost forgotten it. I'm seriously considering the possibility of going ahead and getting another iMac instead.

Wow. I *am* Charlie Brown.
