President “meandering”, “doesn’t know what he’s talking about”

Joe is only there because he was the one candidate who could stop Trump from taking a second term. He did that and should have been allowed to fade into the sunset but his party failed to put up a worthy successor.

I think it's less about a worthy successor. It's the same problem for 2024 that we had for 2020. Biden has said if Trump weren't running, he probably wouldn't either.
When did Biden say that?

Just surprised.

I wouldn’t want to be on the road with a trucker this demented, why would I want him as president?

What begets is an unanswerable question.

Had Trump not been President it's doubtful Biden would be. If Obama had kept his hilarious but infuriating (to Mr. No Sense of Humor Trump) remarks to himself at the Correspondence dinner we'd likely never have seen a Trump campaign.

Dunno why people are so down on Harris, other than possibly she’s too nice (and too female).

Misogyny and racism are so baked into this country that lots of folks can't even see for themselves why they don't like her.

All we needed is a 50-ish candidate who was politically savvy and had the interests of the country, people, and party at heart, in mind and action.

Then we wouldn't have two octogenarians as candidates running for president two elections in a row, and possibly a country not nearly divided, with one half of the Great Divide slowly dragging it backwards in time.

But here we are, with one candidate trying to destroy democracy, and one trying to save it.

And neither getting the full credit they deserve for what they're doing.

True. I think Trump should drop out. That should make it a cakewalk for the Republicans.

That's all?

FWIW, I agree wholeheartedly. Sad that such a person either doesn't exist, or doesn't want to deal with the inevitable BS that would come along after deciding to run.
