I believe the person you are referring to is Ohtani’s current interpreter. The bat boy/person/dude needs to be given a million dollar bonus for protecting the Dodger’s 700 million dollar investment.

Several sources list 2024 Dodger #94 as Dinelson Lamet, but the LA Times names the quick reflexed as Javier Herrera, “ 38-year-old who has been a Dodgers batboy for 20 years”.
