The Beatles

I'm sure I'm in the minority here.
For me Zappa had 2 good records. Freak Out and Overnite.
The rest were smarmy LA rehashes of others.
We're only in it for the Money was aptly named.
Great musician, musicianship and musicians with sometimes interesting arrangements.
But I'd rather listen to Don Van Vliet.

“Art is how we decorate space.
Music is how we decorate time.”
Jean-Michel Basquiat

I saw The Beatles live in 1963. They were great.

You must have seen them in Europe somewhere. They didn't get to the U.S. until February of 1964,
Yes, in England.

I love the Beatles. Obviously some of that is nostalgia. But I also think that one has to have lived through it to have experienced the utter shite that was on most radio programming and what an incredible life changing - and music changing - output the Beatles created.
