You'd think their IT department would know better.

In my Inbox this morning is an email supposedly from TransUnion Consumer Relations. That in itself doesn't surprise me as the other day I put a Fraud Alert on my credit through Experian. That supposedly goes to all three. What does surprise me is that the email has a "click here" link, a "more info" link, and an attachment. It may well be legit, but I'm not clicking any of those links. When I hover over them, they all appear to come from securemail.transunion.com, but of all people, wouldn't a credit reporting company know better than to put links in an email?

I'm going to ignore it.

Apparently I'm not the first to get such an email.

Don't forget the 4th credit agency, Innovis.
You can put a 7 year fraud notice on file.
