Anyone else not getting Slickdeal emails?
#1
They were coming through fine on 3/7 but I got 6 yesterday and none today so far. Typically I get 40-60 a day. I've checked my Junk folder and did a search of All Mailboxes and they're not there. I've not changed any settings at Slickdeals in about 2 years. I even went to Google Mail on my browser and nothing.

I'd put a stop to that in a hurry :-)

LOL! Saves me a lot of money especially on cat food, treats and litter. It's worth to us. I do a search in Mail and look at them a couple times a day and if don't and they've ran out no biggie. I just select the ones I'm not at all interested in and delete them then go back look closer at the ones left. The last deal I got on litter the Amazon delivery person probably didn't like delivering 160# of litter.

I can see how the process-oriented could benefit.

I'm not that process-oriented; I wish I was.

These must be alerts as well as regular SD email, no?

My $d emails arrive with no break.

There are no alerts on tap that I know of.

I seem to have forgotten that process, as I wasn't able to create an alert for some product I was keen on.

probably the same reason why MRF emails do not arrive to gmail.

likely not. Slickdeals has certainly setup the necessary DNS records to authenticate their email. Whatever the current issue they're having is likely a systems issue on their end. With the volume of email they're sending, and the type of company they are, they likely have a good setup for sending out alert emails. MRF on the other hand hasn't added the necessary DNS records to send authenticated email (and I'm guessing the Phorum software doesn't include such functionality to begin with, given its age).
