Seeking hatchet advice

I sold about 60' of a standing 6' chain link fence with poles. The guy that bought it used a farm jack to pull the poles out - concrete and all! I was a pretty happy camper to be rid of it and with $60 in my pocket.

His farm jack looked like an beefy old auto jack, only it was about 4' tall.

Otherwise know as I high lift jack. Common with offroaders (typically the Jeep crowd).

An acquaintance of an acquaintance belonged to a 'jeeping' club.

A few times a month all these Jeepper peoples would go off-roading different places.

One oddball, the acq of the acq drove a K5 blazer.

I always thought he was a jerk, but my acq and his family liked him.

So one fine day, the club plans a run along some particular 'trail'.

Everybody's runnin' FTB when the K5, last in line, makes it half way through two trees where the road narrows.

Missed it by —><— much.

He didn't get half-way without significant damage to the vehicle.

The club left him behind, stuck inside for a bit; the K5 stuck for quite a while.

Eventually some got back to him.

I don't know how it was resolved; it was enough for me that it got wedged.

A bigger man would have been at least a little sympathetic.

I suspect the club members weren't big fans either.
