Almost two weeks ago, actually. I didn't have time to set it up for a couple days, then I didn't have time to post about it until now. 
Anyway, it's a 16 Pro 256GB, purchased through my service provider, Visible. It replaces a Xr. This is my first new phone since my 6s.
I was surprised at how quickly the transfer went of nearly 64GB from my old phone. It took only about 15 minutes; I was expecting it to take hours.
The only remarkable things (other than the obvious increase in speed and storage) are the cutout for the cameras and the charging speed with Apple's standard 20A charging block.
The cutout is weird because there is functional screen space above the cutout. On my previous phone the cutout is at the very top of the screen.
Charging is about 10X faster compared to my old phone (with the standard 2A charging block). However, it's kind of unfortunate that Apple doesn't include a charger with the phone, only a cable.
