Ive had a couple for nearly 3 (more?) years, still fine. Kasa app is pretty clean as well.

fiww, Kasa is owned by TP-link, which has been around for a while..

Thanks.

I just gave 3 pretty new Amazon plugs to my SIL because we were using them in our lock and leave house and they too often required resetting. The Kasa plugs we already had for our primary house and the new ones I got for our lock and leave have been rock solid. I'll buy 2 of these to keep in the closet for replacement.

I use six of them and have two idling on station.

They work really well except if my router loses connection to the 'net for an hour or more.

Then waiting for them to reconnect can take a while.

One got stuck in some kind of factory-reset limbo, and I can't seem to get it back.

Setup should be straight forward but sometimes the plugs just wouldn't complete setup, I don't know why.

Then they connected, and they work well.

And yes, the app is pretty decent, with a very finished look.
