I did some cord cutting today

I dropped my U-Verse TV service to Basic. It's a slight bummer because I liked being able to just turn on the TV and start with my favorite channels while scrolling through the guide to find something I wanted to watch.

But it was too expensive, there's no live sports I'm currently interested in and I have plenty of streaming available.

I might re-up to more channels when football begins, but in the mean time, I think I can get 90% of what I want without adding any additional paid streaming services. I also have a DVR full of already recorded shows and movies.

The only two shows I'm watching these days are The Librarians: the Next Chapter and Resident Alien. I'm pretty sure I can still watch Resident Alien. I'm not sure about The Librarians without having cable or a streaming service that includes it, but it's no big deal if I have to wait a few months to watch it.

The problem I have with streaming services is figuring out what I want to watch. With live TV, I watch what is on at the time (except for DVRed shows). With streaming, I spend so much time indecisively looking at all the choices and half the time give up without actually watching anything. Shy

When I 'just want something on' I tend to put on PlutoTV
plenty to watch there.

I can get some NFL games on my antenna. Is that a possibility for you?
If not, I will turn on YoutubeTV for the NFL/NBA playoffs.

Yep, sometimes when I haven given up, I put on PlutoTV. Wink  I will probably be doing more of that in the future.

I do have an antenna, but rarely use it.

The only reason I didn't completely shut off the cable TV (temporarily) is because they don't offer a pause or vacation option and if I turn it off I can never get it back since U-Verse TV is considered a legacy service; they don't want to continue providing it.

We cut the cable cord more than a year ago in favor of YoutubeTV. We get more and clearer channels. But since then, we have realized that we basically don't watch Youtube TV and could probably get by without that, especially being in a "media blackout" mode now. Most of our TV time is via Apple TV+ and Hulu with scattered Netflix.
