The issue I've had with old Airport Expresses is maintaining an old laptop to run the old azz hacked airport utility to configure it for my network. Finally, I didn't bother anymore. Did keep them going up until about a year or so ago.

Spent 15 minutes rummaging though boxes and found it! Set it up and it's playing great to my AV receiver!
