Ah, but the beauty of relativity is that you or I could potentially go somewhere that is 1000 light years away and in our personal time reference frame it might only take one year to get there. Yes, but again: in your personal reference frame, you would only age a tiny bit, not 20.5 years (in fact, if you could travel at the speed of light, you wouldn't age at all).
