Just got the two Jack Bruce CD remasters I ordered from Amazon, "Songs for a Tailor" and "Harmony Row." Beyond the incredible music, I was also struck by something else about these British import CDs-none of those friggin' "security" bands to peel off the case. Just take off the plastic outer wrap and bingo, play the music you paid for. How civilized...

well, it should be pointed out that in all the UK music shoppes I used to frequent, it was IMPOSSIBLE for the customer to actually put their hands on the actual CD case or CD they were buying until transaction's end. Most shoppes have you bring up the empty jewel case (or in some cases a card with the CD you want on it) to the counter, pay the fellow and THEN you get the actual CD inside the actual CD jewelcase.

No need for security tape using that system, eh wot!
