Just Some Mac Designers Talking #4 (about PS on PC)
#1
Selecting a typeface in Photoshop on a PC seems harder to me than on a Mac but I've seen someone use the scrollwheel to scroll through his fonts once while his type was selected.

Anybody know how you continually change a selected typeface using the scroll wheel and some key combination?

Thanks

No idea. The scroll wheel just zooms the image on my PC.

I figured it out. This is pretty cool.

1. Select text

2. Click once on the the font family selection either in the menu or in the Character panel.

3. Rotate the scroll wheel and you'll see that the typeface will scroll through all your PC's fonts.

Anybody know if you can do this on a Mac?

Yes. It works on a Mac on Cocoa apps including Photoshop.
