Lexmarks, Epsons and HP's I have looked at all require Panther. I am not going to buy Panther just to run computer I will only have for a while.

$50 isn't cheap enough? Did you see the link I put in the other thread? How cheap is "cheap"?

Well, you didn't look close enough. Epson has their c88+ on their refurb site for $45 shipped and the sys requirements say 10.2.8. Doesn't get much cheaper than that and it's an OK printer.
