This Omnitech 11.3" from Staples seems to be supported for the PC.
Audio is only .wma. How do I convert .mp3 to .wma on the MAC?
There is a PC app called OptPix Pro, that is used to move photos over to the frame using a PC. This app has an "Optimizing" feature, but not sure how well it works.
Has anyone found any "site" or easy to follow instructions in terms of setting up your photos, so that they fit to the best size, on a digital picture frame in general?
This app did ok using my pc, just want to make sure I give the best presents I can.

I don't know abot the audio conversion, but with Photoshop Elements I did a batch processing of photos for my wife's frame. I put a copy of all the pictures she wanted into a folder, looked up the number of vertical and horizontal pixels the picture frame displayed and then used Elements batch processing feature to covert them all to those pixel counts at 72dpi (since that is all that will show on the frame and keep the file size down). Elements automatically applied the settings to all the pictures in the folder and then I copied them to the frame.

With that process, does the picture not stretch? Some of my shots are in portrait mode, and they only take up the center of the frame, and that is the way it should be. I get confused with pixels, and resolution. That would be great to reduce the size of the pictures to only what the Dig Pict Frame would show, so that more pictures could be loaded. Will have to read more.

Photo frames come in both widescreen and normal 4x3 versions. The omnitech 11.3" frame is widescreen so it will either stretch your photos or leave black borders on the side.
A 4x3 frame will have the same aspect ratio as the photos most cameras take to make full use of the screen.
With a widescreen display to make full use of the screen without making the photos stretched, it requires more work to crop the photos - in this case to 800 x 480 (rather than 800 x 600).

Oops, I forgot - I did this a few months ago. I only set the vertical size of the images for the number of pixels of the frame. For the horizontal I just checked the "Constrain Proportions" box in the "Image Size" window. Some of the pictures did end up with black borders rather than be stretched to fit. Sorry I didn't remember that.
