How did you get so many gift cards?

Birthday and Christmas. My birthday is in November 22, and Christmas is only a month after that.

During the year, I buy all the "affordable" crap I want/need. The past three years, though, I've asked for gift cards for a certain place so I can get one BIG gift.

1st year was Apple for an iPod. Second year (2006) was Cabela's for a pistol. This year was Apple for a tower replacement (for my QS 2001).
