Starting sometime tonight...Staples.com 200GB PATA HD $40AR

Starting sometime tonight Staples will have 200GB Maxtor PATA hard drives for $40 after a $60 EZ rebate. This is the same deal that they had on Black Friday. You can view their circular for tommorow from their website.

This is the link from their online circular, I would think that the price will be updated around midnight. The rebate is probably only good from the 19th to the 26th, so YMMV on if you get the rebate if they allow ordering before midnight.

This morning I ordered one of these Maxtor drives from Staples, but did not see get the $30 coupon savings indicated on the product listing. I could not cancel the order online so called staples.com customer service (800-378-2753) to ask how I get the other $30 off since I could not get the "coupon" to work. I was told that they had removed the coupon because too many people wait until just after midnight and pounce on the deal before anyone else gets a chance to take advantage of it. He volunteered to give me a credit on my Visa card for $30. Presumably they will do that for anyone who calls.
