font confusion
#1
I got a business card from Australia I need to redo. It uses "HelveticaCYPlain" and "HelveticaCYBold". I know this b/c when I opened the PDF in Illustrator it said I was missing those 2. Now I thought that the CY versions meant Cyrillic...as in Russian. But there are no Russian characters in the file. Is there another CY? Getting the fonts used would probably be fruitless so I'm on my own.

99% sure Helvetica CY is installed in OS X by default.

I've got Times CY as a system font. But not Helvetica CY.

Hmmm...I just chose Helvetica Narrow from my list and its ALMOST a perfect match. Where I can see the most obvious difference is in the capital "K". Oh well. Should work good enough.

I think you can find the CY version as a free download.
