Need new land line phone for business
#1
I have an AT&T phone that I like, but I need to go wireless.

I work in a home office and sometimes am in another part of the house when the phone rings and the only phone is in the office.

The wireless phone must be able to get exceptional reception because I'm frequently on conference calls. It also must have a good speakerphone capability in the handset and headset support, preferably using 1/8" phone plug. Oh, and I'd like a minimum of two handsets in the package.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Get a Panasonic 5.8 ghz set from Costco. Meets all your requirements and is quality, quality, quality. Got my set of 3 from Costco for < $200 two years ago plus I think I had a coupon for $20-30 off. Only one needs an actual phone outlet. Other 2 have base stations that plug into wall. This is model kx-tg5673. Probably an updated model now.

Second the Panasonic's. I've had them for years and they are top notch.

The 5.8 GHz with the speaker phone built into the handset work great.

I often will apologize and say "let me take you off of speaker phone" and the person on the
other end will comment that they couldn't even tell that I was on speaker phone.

Panasonic DECT 6.0, best phone I've ever had. Costco has them on special June 30th through July 6th, $69.99 with coupon for 3-Handset system.

Another vote for Panasonic's from Costco, wife and I both run home based businesses and have been using Panasonic's for several years with no problems and excellent reception.

Yep, Panasonics here too...really wish I had sprung for the 3-handset version rather than just two handsets a couple of years ago but couldn't afford it.

Check to see if they offer it as a single (they do on a number of them)

When I got my last one (about 2 years ago) it was a 2 unit set but you could buy additional
phone & charger base combos.

The DECT 6.0 versions are the latest and greatest. Said to have better reception and less interference.
