Drive is $85 at the WD outlet minus a $20 coupon plus $7.20 shipping. Labeled as "recertified." I bought one last week for ten bucks more than this. It looked nearly mint, with a couple of vague scuff marks. Probably a return I'm guessing. These are still running at least $100 and often $125 most places.

Have you actually made this purchase? When I saw the coupon code earlier today I entered it with this drive but it looks like it only applies to "select drives" that do not include refurbished models.
But I haven't entered my account info to verify whether or not the coupon will process later in the transaction.

Yeah, just tried it all the way through. The coupon won't apply to refurbished drives; otherwise it'd be a steal (and exactly the deal I've been looking for on an HD.)

Oops. Sorry. I bought it recently on a $10 off coupon, so when I saw this one for $20 off I figured it would work the same. I can't find the coupon code I used, but I doubt it is still valid. Still, $82 is substantially less than these are going for elsewhere.

$82 is pretty cheap - but since Amex warranty extension doesn't cover refurbished/recertified equipment, it's not cheap enough. For some reason, in my mind, $72 is. I guess it's because I don't really need a 320GB 2.5" USB drive right now, but it wouldn't be the worst thing to have it.
