MBP woes
#1
Just tried to reboot my MBP - and now cannot get past the grey apple/pinwheel screen - stops there and goes black - anyone have any ideas what to try?

-safe boot (hold down shift key while booting), then try rebooting normally
-pull battery when powered down and let it sit for a few minutes
-try to boot from system CD or DVD
-reset PRAM
-run Applejack (if you have it installed)

Boots from DVD - have repaired permissions - verifying disc now
Tried pulling battery and letting sit - no change
Have not yet tried resetting PRAM
No Applejack installed
will try safe boot

Disk Warrior or your external back up hard drive by holding down the Option key at Startup, and then choosing it for Startup.
