Not a regular viewer, but I can't get over how much Spader's character came to mirror Shatner's. Watching the two on screen together is like watching time-shifted versions of Shatner perform together. When did Kelly decide Denny needed a Mini-Me?

I enjoyed it & will miss it. Thankfully it's now in syndication & I can catch up on the earlier seasons.

The scene with Denny clearing the boardroom of Chinese businessmen with paintball pistols was a classic!

Love the show. The "inside jokes" were worth the price of admission alone. You really had to pay attention to hear all the subtle and not-so-subtle jokes. A recent example, as Denny Crane is pondering his mad cow and how long he'll live, Alan says something like Denny will outlive them all and still be doing Priceline commercials.

Funny stuff!
