Quicken --OK on Mac, not so much on PC. Need advice

I run Quicken 2004 on my iMac G5 and it's OK. I don't any on-line stuff with Quicken and never will, so it's just a cash flow and report system. I migrated my data to Quicken for Windows 2001, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life, but I got thru it, because my wife runs a Dell laptop that she likes using and she's the major bookkeeper for our finances.

I just can't make Quicken work right on the PC and neither can she, and I have hit the limiot on tech support with this criminally bad software -- the UI is the worst ever of any program, and everything about it, everything!!!, is counterintuitive.

Is anyone using financial cash-flow and report software that will import data from Quicken 2001, and is easy (or easier) to use? Trying to figure out online which application might make the grade is hopeless. Need real user experience.

And if nothing imports the Quicken data, but is good otherwise, tell me now, while the year is young. Cheap is good.

I made the switch to MoneyDance a year or so back. It was the only one (of the 3) I'd tried that successfully imported 10 years of Quicken data (ok, it screwed up 3 stock splits).

It runs on Windows and Macs (and Linux), so you and your wife can share the data (assuming it's on some commonly visible server).

The import and the first 100 transactions are free. After that, you pay for it or stop using it.

The interface is not quite as polished as Quicken, but the developers actually fix bugs and release updates.
