Bluetooth USB dongle that WILL work with iTunes

I skirted this topic a few weeks ago, but now need recommendations.

I bought two really inexpensive Bluetooth USB dongles to try out with a non-Bluetooth equipped MacPro; the goal being to use my existing Bluetooth headphones to listen to the iTunes library on this MacPro.

Either dongle was able to successfully make some Bluetooth connections (Mac other Mac), but neither could make the iTunes-to-headphones work.

Does anyone know of a Bluetooth USB dongle that does work with iTunes?

That adapter supports the Bluetooth headset profile, allowing you to choose and use a Bluetooth headset as a general audio output device, including use with iTunes. However, I don't think it supports A2DP, so if you intended to use it with high quality Bluetooth stereo headphones, you're out of luck.

Regarding A2DP...
Can I assume that if my Bluetooth headphones work with iTunes on my Bluetooth equipped MacBook Pro (Apple factory installed) then they would also work with the Apple-recommended D-Link dongle attached to the MacPro?

For A2DP support, the computer must be running Leopard.

The DBT-120 is a Bluetooth 2.0 EDR device, so it should support Leopard's A2DP profile stack however, D-Link's specs do not explicitly claim support for that profile.

If you decide to get the DBT-120, be sure to run Apple's Bluetooth firmware update for it.
