Yet another Mac mini Deal or No Deal?
#1
This one is basically the previous generation high end model except that the RAM has been upped to 4GB (seller said Fry's did the upgrade) and the hard drive has been upped to 500GB (WD Scorpio 5400rpm).

The stock mini was bought from an Apple Store in January, so the warranty is until January 2010.

Seller is asking $660...I haven't tried negotiating down yet.

500GB drives seen for $100
4GB RAM $40-60 depending on the deal and the day; that mini can only use 3 of it, assuming it's a Core 2 Duo.

Given the features and capabilities of the new model, I wouldn't do it; I would only buy the new Mini. But if people can get $660 for that, I've got a Core Duo 1.66Ghz 2GB 320GB I'd sell for $600.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Those Expercom.com deals don't look too bad.
