Aperture 2.1.3
#1
This update improves overall stability and provides fixes for issues related to database integrity and compatibility with specific file types. The issues addressed include:

Nikon images imported directly from a camera now display thumbnails correctly in the Import window.
Fixed an issue that could cause duplicate image versions to be created after rebuilding a library.
Fixed a library issue that prevented operation of the Relocate or Consolidate commands in some circumstances.
The update is recommended for all users of Aperture 2.

Some people I know really like this program but I have gotten by with using PS3 and it's raw converter. I guess it would come in handy for larger jobs.

I got it because my image editing needs are minimal, but for my growing collection of images I wanted a cataloging solution more robust than iPhoto (lack of RAW editing) or Bridge (a Finder replacement for Photoshop.) I keep Photoshop Elements 4 around for anything heavier, but don't really need it either.
