Need to replace a SATA DVD burner for a client - suggestions on which to buy?
#1
Currently has a HL GSA-H30L. DL capable, lightscribe. I'm considering a Lite-on IHAS422-08; an LG GH22LS30 or a Sony DRU-V200S/BR

Any opinions Yea or Nay? The Sony doesn't have lightscribe.

Does Pioneer make a S-ATA, if so, that's what I would get.

This is for a POS HP PC. Cost and availability are factors. As it is, I have to drive 30 miles round trip to pick it up and a Pio wasn't listed on their website in the price range I'm authorized to spend. Has to be B&M tomorrow.

Thanks for all the responses. I ordered a Lite-ON IHAS422 from Newegg shipped overnight for about the same $ as CompUSA (the only semi-local place that has them) and that saved a couple hours of driving time. Newegg has already acknowledged the order (placed minutes ago) so we'll see if I actually get it tomorrow. Otherwise I expect it it'll be Monday at best.
