Senseo One Cup Pod Coffee Maker recalled by Philips. Kudos to amazon.com for telling me about it!
Hi everyone,
We have a few of these in my family and Amazon.com was kind enough to send me information about a recall. Apparently, an electrical fault and the build-up of calcium from hard and medium water can cause an obstruction in the coffeemaker. End result, coffee maker goes boom. Since Amazon notified me about the recall, I figured, I’d in turn post a note about it in the forum.
I haven’t heard from Philips itself about the recall although notification about it may already be in the mail.
