Tabs at the top? You lost me. My tabs have always been at the top and still are in Safari 4. What am I missing?

Is it that significantly better than plain old Safari 3?

Even the S4 Beta was better than 3.

Much faster for me. I've been using the Beta since it first shipped, and I never had a problem or thought about going back.

Does installing 4 overwrite 3? I'd like to try it without committing to it. 3 works well for me.

I'm liking 4 a lot better than 3 so far. I like the interface tweaks, it's faster, I like the Top Sites and the Cover Flow history search. This was a really good day to be a fan of the Mac and OS X for me.

Edit:
So far I've hit two sites that I thought blew up with Safari 4, Macworld's front page and everymac.com, only to open the pages in Firefox and find out it was the site and not Safari (Um, unless it's some kind of Webkit error caused by the update? Is that possible?).

Before you download Easiest way to do that is highlight Safari on your Applications folder and press Command D as in duplicate.
It will make a copy of 3.0 and the new 4.0 will replace 3.
