Firefox Q- what's the name of the damn setting you toggle for contextual menu popup upon clicking and holding on a link?

And . . . has anyone ever entered "about:config" on a windows machine?
You get a warning about voiding your warranty by changing your settings!

Thanks, but no such animal.

Could have sworn it started with UI but it's not there.

Have scanned the entire list at least once through . . .

Fumbling around in XP, the best I've figured out is that control-clicking on a link opens it in a seperate tab. Would rather just be able to tap/hold-- once you've gotten used to this you really miss it when it's gone.

You get that warning the first time you do it on a Mac, too.

...

about:config

ui.click_hold_context_menus

Double-click to set it to "true."

(BTW, experimenting by typing descriptive words into the about:config filter usually comes up with solutions quicker than asking on a message board. Smile )

Yup, searched the filter already. Why are you always smug when you're wrong and humble when you're right?
Anyways, there are only about 8 choices under ui., and none of them come close-- I'm going to have to conclude that there's no corresponding option in the Windows version. I can sort of understand why since it's very easy to right click when you have a mouse.

OK, duh, I just realized that I can right click on a URL with this click pad-- it's going to take a bit of practice but I think I'll get the hang of it.

It's Mac-only.
