Nova - Wings of Love
Has anyone heard of these guys? Y'know, 70s that christian jazz fusion/rock band from Italy?
No?
No wonder... It's been out of print for 20 years at least. Never released on CD - until now.
Monster speedy rockish guitar, fusion type sax/flute, super funk bass player.
I had this album and listened to it often for over a year before I realized that all of these songs are about God. But they are a MONSTER band - really the best fusion of 70s jazz fusion and rock I've ever heard.
I looked around a few months ago and found a small group of fans and the fact that there was a japanese release a couple of years ago. It's going for top dollar - as much as $35/40 - it's probably already out of print.
