Fascinating. As I recall, Sir Stephen uses the old OS7 voice for his. It's certainly an interesting insight into one man's coping with his handicap.

It's wonderful that Ebert is also a writer.

I can't begin to imagine the frustration of someone who is an articulate speaker. lose their voice and be unable to communicate in writing even remotely as eloquently as they once did in voice.

I *imagine* that this is just as frustrating to them as any other physical ability might be to another.
