Going to Disney Tomorrow!!

Oh - regarding the stroller.

When we got to Orlando, we went to Wal-mart and bought a $19 umbrella stroller and used it all week.

I think it was a lot cheaper than renting one everywhere we went.

and if you get sunburned, an old Floridian trick -- vinegar.

just sponge vinegar on the burn, it'll draw the heat out. Just keep it away from the eyes.

It hasn't rained here for at least two weeks, so the poncho thing might not be cost effective. But then again, we're still in the tail end of rainy season, and they keep saying we're supposed to get some.

Sorry can't give too many tips. When you live here, if you miss something, it's not such a big deal. I've been to Epcot so many times, I can't imagine that I haven't done everything there is to do there.

Unless your kids are completely enamored with Peter Pan, avoid until very late at night...that is one long line.

Get the tickets before going to the amusement parks...you'll save quite a bit of time.

Be sure to get the Disney passes that do not expire (buy a bunch of them)...make sure to add on the Disney Quest, golf, etc, etc for $5 extra. Disney Quest is worth a visit if your kids like video games (all games are free once inside).

I've ridden that ride numerous times years ago and it was nearly always
a walk on, now there's a huge wait, what's the deal? The wait time was
long when we were down last month.

I've never known Peter Pan to have a short line.

Thanks for all of the tips. We are doing the water bottles with the little lemonade packets. Got the fanny packs with snacks.

It's hot as hell here - 90s so far every day. No rain though - and we did have cheap ponchos. Figure, we keep them in the fanny packs and then it won't rain Smile

My daughter wore her Cinderella dress all day yesterday in the Magic Kingdom. We did Epcot today. Fantasmic tonight. My son is dead so we came home and the rest of the family watched it.

I'm military, that's why we are here - the 5-day pass was too good to pass up right now. Only $125/person with the park-hopper. We are staying at Old Key West with my parents and so far, it's been really nice - other than the heat.

Still seems like there are a lot of people here, but we have been able to ride everything and not wait too long. We are using the fast passes - that's a cool thing! I think our longest wait was for Thunder Mountain and it was only 20 min. Can't imagine what it would be like here at the peak times.

TONS of strollers and pre-schoolers here right now though. With the heat, you can hear parents going off on their kids rather often Smile And yes, our kids have had their moments, but it's ok.

We've got three more days and we are going to take it easy from here on out.

Thanks for everything!
