Alpha,
No one in particular. Most of the time people would tell me if they have specific allergies. Here is the incident, I treated a friend to a meal at a restaurant. In the middle of the meal she was all choked up and shaking. After she recovered she told me that she was allergic to shrimps but there were no shrimps or any type of sea food in her order. It took us all 10 minutes to find out that the cook prepared my friend's dish immediately after handling a seafood meal.
I have a friend who had to be brought back to life by paramedics after having an allergic reaction to shrimp "residue" from a meal served in a restaurant. When people have allergies, first, they need to make sure they are very clear with restaurant personnel when they order, and, second, they should be carrying an epi-pen with them everywhere they go. It sounds like your friend had a rather mild allergic reaction; many people go into anaphylactic shock, and they could die. It really isn't up to you to figure this out, you know.
