Another Apple iPhone charger/cable deal. $10 to your door.

We just got our Daily Steals one. Works great.
Now, buy.com has a deal, too.

How could they be selling so many refurbished chargers. Did they really not pass inspection, or are these returns?

Don't ask me.
As with trying to save anything, or just shopping at FRY'S, all those thoughts YOU'RE having go through MY HEAD too.
If they last longer than 33% a new one would last, I figure I'm ahead.

If it had a stand, I'd jump on it. I already have surplus cables/chargers.

I just upgraded from an original 2G iPhone to an iPhone G3s. The Apple charger stand from the original no longer fits. And I had like, four of them, in different places in the house. Really handy to place them in a charger stand (as opposed to laying flat with a cable jacked in, gets the job done, but has to lay down) so now I'm looking for deals on the newer model stands. I got one, at $29. Prefer not to pay that much if I get additional ones.

That little AC-to-USB plug must be worth a lot, because Monoprice has the cords for $1.80.

Or, you can get a brand new one from eBay for $11.30 shipped:

This is a better deal IMHO.

Link?

I have a ton of non-Apple branded cables. And the quality of the connector is ALWAYS drastically poor.

Is monoprice's an APPLE branded cable?

I bought a couple from the previous thread.

Maybe I'm just special but they are both shite. They both function properly but the cap that slides over the usb connector that slides into the ac adapter comes off freely now after one or two uses. I imagine it's not much of a hazard but still...

Looks like it is $1.53 now. Not Apple branded. I'm definitely not a connoisseur but I've had no problem with it and can't really tell the difference from my Apple one.
