Just plunked down cash for a 55 inch LG LCD 120hz display. Model #55LH40
I originally ordered a samsung 52 inch from Newegg at abou;the same price (~$1500)...but they emailed me saying it is out of stock and jacked the price to $2000.
The reviews on the LG were good, so why not?

Can't wait till tiger ships the thing...it should be a blast to watch star trek on it!
I missed 1 x ($1489.99) LCD HDTV SAMSUNG LN52B630 R - Retail $1489.99
Interestingly enough, I see the LCD at newegg now for $2088.
The email from Newegg read as follows:
