Anyone bought this to use with iPhone 3GS (Charger mentioned on Dealmac) yesterday

I know 3GS is fussy about compatibility. I dont want to buy 3 of them, and then have it tell me that it does not work with this phone.

The one you linked to does not say 3G yet the kit for double the price does.

Here's hoping you find a real world user who could tell you. Without that, I'd pass.
