heavy-duty AA cell holders?
#1
I want to replace the NiCd cell in some devices with AA NiMH cells, and rather that build a battery pack myself (or order one online), I would rather have a battery holder where I can replace individual cells when needed. I looked at Radioshack and other places, and there are 6 AA cell holders, but they seem rather flimsy... I want something of good quality, that can handle 10A of surge (yes, there are AA cells out there that can handle 10A, eneloops for example)

if you know any high quality AA cell holders, please let me know. Thanks

If you're going to do this to replace something larger such as D cells, you're going to get far less amp hour capacity.

Digikey has a bunch of different types. This one looks like it might work for you.

Thanks a lot, I like that a LOT! I can solder thick wires and connect the cells any way I want. Thanks a lot!
